Review - Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Lotion

Hello people!
Don't you find it confusing with so many products on the shelves once you enter stores like Watsons, Guardian or even supermarket?
It is also quite a hassle to look for something that really moisturize your skin !
Wells, I've used a number of moisturizer previously and yet, people will still tell me "your face is so dry" and my skin will flake like as if it is going to snow anytime soon.

It was then, I decided to give a try on this, few weeks after watching the advertisement on TV.
I can't find it on youtube, but this is similar to the one I saw, just different language.

Yes, its said to be a lotion, but do you know that it is actually a toner?
Japanese calls it a lotion, so don't get tricked like I do.

So, what is Hada Labo?
It stands for Perfect X Simple. It has a range of products that allows you to bring beauty back to the basics of perfect, simple and confident.
You can know more about the brand here.

So, after all the introduction of the brand, today I am going to review the Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Lotion.

What is it?
It contains 3 types of Hyaluronic Acids such as Nano Hyaluronic Acid, Super Hyaluronic Acid and Hyaluronic Acid (HA).
HA - 1gm of HA is able to hold 6 liters of water which effectively locks-in moisture on skin.
Thus, it helps improve dry and dehydrated skin, leaving skin silky smooth
Super HA - 2x the moisture retention capacity of HA to keep skin smooth and hydrated for longer period of time
Nano HA - molecule size 1/20 of HA which will be able to penetrates easily into the skin innermost layer to deeply moisturize the skin.

No worries about allergies as it is free of fragrances, mineral oil, alcohol and colorant.

Application
Use twice a day after cleansing face.
Apply on palms and gently pat onto skin until thoroughly absorbed.

Review
I used this product for almost 3 months now, and yes, I hardly use products for such a long period of time. I have half a bottle left, this means that it is really really worth it.
I don't have breakouts, skin is smooth and my skin hardly flake now.
But also got to remember, in order for it to not look dry, please drink water. If not there does the HA gets the water from ? *winks*

This product was also introduced on one of the episodes on 女人我最大, a Taiwanese beauty Variety Show.
Wells, as you all know, Taiwan is in Asia, we all have Asian Skin and Taiwanese are quite popular in knowing a lot on skin care and beauty.

And do you know that 1 bottle is sold every 4 seconds in Japan?
In fact, as seen on Hada Labo (SG) Facebook page, on 04/12/12, 1 is sold every 2 seconds in Japan now !

Grade:
4/5 as when applying, it's quite sticky and takes quite a while to have the "smooth" feel.
Although some people say that it's because you put too much, but if I put lesser, my skin will flake.

Value:
4.5/5. At S$22.90 from Watsons, it is quite a value for money as after 3 months, I am still halfway through the bottle!
Although there are other cheaper lotions out there.

Note:
Do you know that the Hada Labo Lotion comes in 3 versions?
Dark Blue - Arbutin Whitening
Red - Retinol Lifting + Firming
White - Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing
Don't worry, although the dark blue and red is for whitening and lifting respectively, but there is still hyaluronic acid in it which still makes it a hydrating lotion !
Just that it is not is moisturizing as the white one.

In Malaysia, they are actually selling the same lotion for RM43.90 (S$17.65), which is much cheaper than the one in Singapore, however, if you notice, the one sold in Malaysia is actually Made in China while the one sold in Singapore is Made in Japan.

The lotion is so good and moisturizing that it can also be applied on hands, legs, body and even hair!
It is mentioned in the video on top.

Want to try it on your own?
No worries, you can grab a sample at Hada Labo Singapore's Facebook Page here !

You can also get the range of Hada Labo products from Watsons, Guardian, Sasa, Unity and major departmental stores with price ranging from $13.50 to $34.90.
