Review - Missha Snail Cream Set
Who doesn't love parcels?
Especially when it is something you hope to have?
As title, snail cream. Yes, some of you may hear about it, but it had been the rage of Asian Skincare for a while, I read on some raves of snail cream online, and decided to jump on the bandwagon to try it out.
Just to talk more on my skin, I have ultra sensitive skin, very dry and flaky one. And it will grow tiny bumps if it "meets" with skincare products that doesn't suit my skin.
In short, I aren't the judge of the skincare products, but its my face. *evil laugh*
I purchased the snail cream from qoo10, more well-known as gmarket.
No worries about if the product is fake or real, cause it was sent from Korea. Like who will bring China made product to Korea, label "made in Korea" and send it to Singapore.
By the time I receive the product, it would have been on the news !
So.. For those who are wondering, what does snail cream do to you?
Wells, snail cream comes from the extract of the mucus of the snails, added into the cream.
Don't "eww" so fast! The mucus is proven to prevent and improve skin damages and it is high-moisturizing and high-nutrient that increases skin defensive power to relieve skin irritation and relaxes the skin to help improve texture of the skin.
It works a double function of anti-wrinkle and whitening.
It has no coloring, no paraben and no mineral oil.

- 70% snail mucus extract
Gives renew beauty for skin with various problems such as dark skin tone or lack of resilience
- 2% baobab tree extract
Activates moisture energy and increase moisture retention to block vicious circle of dryness
- 100% deep ocean water instead of purified water
The water is aged deep in the ocean without ray of the sun, it (the cream) creates moist skin by
filling up deep ocean water
- Contains vegetable stem cell extract that provides vitality to the skin
It controls the skin intensively to create clean and clear skin
Application
- Take appropriate amount (i use pea size), apply on skin after the use of your facial routine or moisturizer
- Tap the cream on your skin to allow your skin to absorb the cream.
Review
It smells like cucumber, which writes off my impression of thinking that it will have the smell of "snail", like those soil smell.
The result cannot be seen on my face after the first few applications and is only showing after a week.
The cream really absorbs easily and quickly once you apply on your face !
After putting the cream, your skin really feel smooth the whole day and now I have a bad habit of touching my skin because its not rough anymore!
In terms of skin lightening, yes, my skin indeed went a bit lighter, under the same lighting, but sun block lotion really also plays a part in the skin care regime.
Had lesser breakouts and the only breakouts is when I have my period. The pimples are not as red and swollen as the previous few.

4/5 because it gives breakout the first 3 days of applying it. Maybe my skin is adapting to the cream?
Value
4/5 for something at this price level that finally can allow my skin to be more moisturized and smooth !
But the price is not really friendly to a student's pocket !

- Last stage of skin care, put adequate amount onto face (i used the "5 dots") and tap it smoothly and sleep!
Review
It has lesser snail extract as the cream, thus, I put both cream and sleeping mask before sleeping.
Sleeping time does play a part too as from websites, 11pm to 2am is the most crucial timing for skin to regenerate and "repair" itself.
The sleeping mask is white in color, thicker than the cream. However, when applying, it evens out easily.
My pores becomes smaller and my skin flakes lesser!
It really save time. Instead of applying mask and wait for almost 30 minute before you remove it, etc, you just put the sleeping mask on your face and sleep ! Great for lazy people like me !

3.5/5, minus 1 as it stings at the thinner part of the face, e.g eye area and my cheeks.
Minus 0.5 as the percentage of snail extract is lesser than the cream !

5/5 ! Its a free product that comes with the cream !
Overall, I really can say that I really love this cream and will buy a second set if there aren't better snail creams or creams in the market!
As there is a Chinese saying which is translated that says "there is no ugly women, only lazy women."
