7D6N Taiwan Budget Trip Summary :S$591 all-in

Image
Note : Feel free to post any questions at ngelean@gmail.com So recently, I've been back from a 7 Days 6 Night Budget trip to Taiwan, and here is my summary for the trip.  Taiwan is somewhere which I've always wanted to travel to for the past 5 years.  It was firstly due to the influence of Taiwanese reality programs and dramas, then me knowing people from Taiwan, then working in a Taiwanese store.... And lastly, it was an impulse, booking the ticket during scoot sales which happens 7-9am everyday Tuesday, which happens to be this trip. As I've always been taking red-eye flights most of the time, we also chose red-eye flight for our trip to Taiwan, so we can spend more time there, while saving up on lodging and transportation (taxi). Realising we are quite strapped for cash after purchasing my air ticket, I asked my friend, why not lets do a budget trip and see how much we can save! This is my first time to Taiwan, and I really want to spend time in Taipei. We decid...

Indonesia'16 - Tangkuban Perahu

Image
After landing at Bandung's Husein Sastranegara International Airport, and buying my prepaid card, we went up to Tangkuban Perahu. Although it was 24 degrees C but it is pretty warm, especially when the sun rays shines into the car, and you are stuck in the midst of a traffic jam. After Bangkok and Bandung, I really do appreciate the transportation system Singapore has! Some photos during my journey up, while enjoying the views around Bandung. Around 2 hours ride up to Tangkuban Perahu, we finally felt some cool and fresh air. The charges goes: 200,000 rupiah (S$21) for foreigners, 20,000 rupiah (S$2.10) for locals, 20,000 rupiah for cars. To prove that one is a local, they were asked to show their student card to the guard. Which is something interesting - In Singapore, its passport to prove Nationality, student card to prove if you are a student. Yes, there are different pricing for entrance to Tangkuban Perahu around the web, but since we spent 2 hours ...

Review - Missha Snail Cream Set

Image
Who doesn't love parcels? Especially when it is something you hope to have? As title, snail cream. Yes, some of you may hear about it, but it had been the rage of Asian Skincare for a while, I read on some raves of snail cream online, and decided to jump on the bandwagon to try it out. Just to talk more on my skin, I have ultra sensitive skin, very dry and flaky one. And it will grow tiny bumps if it "meets" with skincare products that doesn't suit my skin. In short, I aren't the judge of the skincare products, but its my face. *evil laugh* I purchased the snail cream from qoo10, more well-known as gmarket. No worries about if the product is fake or real, cause it was sent from Korea. Like who will bring China made product to Korea, label "made in Korea" and send it to Singapore. By the time I receive the product, it would have been on the news ! So.. For those who are wondering, what does snail cream do to you? Wells, snail cream comes fro...

Review: Garnier DuoClean

Image
As a growing teenager, we bound to have loads of skin problems which we wish we can get rid of it.  As girls, we will tend to buy loads and loads of skin care products just so that we can be prettier.  But do you know using too many skin care products may cause problems to your skin because of the chemicals in the products? With multiple skin concerns, we tend to use cleansers to meet the need of the concern.  Having to wash your face with 2 cleansers may cause your skin to be dry! And Singapore is paced so fast that we will question "Where got time!"  Why have 2 cleansers if you can have 1? Garnier came out with a new product, the DuoClean cleaners to meet the needs of our skin concerns. You can choose between: - DuoClean Rice (Black): Brightens Skin + Tightens Pores - DuoClean Minerals (Blue): Controls Oil + Lightens Pimple Scars Now. Who say rice is for us to eat only? After finishing the G...
